Hello, World!

I know it’s so cliché, but it can’t be helped, so, I’m giving this a go.

A Little Backstory

I was laid off back in November. It sucks, but it gave me a ton of free time to reflect. One thing my wife told me, as the weeks went by, was how relaxed I’ve been. As I look back on my journal entries for well over a year, I’ve been under a lot of stress. I finally decided to leave, but like any responsible adult, I wasn’t planning on doing it until I had something lined up. Fortunately (at least how I see it) the universe had other plans.

I’d say it’s not too bad. Yes, the timing could’ve been better, but that’s never the case. The silver lining is that I’ve been blessed with so much spare time. Since then, I’ve been taking on a ton of fun and random projects that I might blog about. Projects such as:

  • Hacking my Nintendo Switch to play my games on my PC.
  • Setting up AdGuard Home on a Raspberry Pi Zero that’s been collecting dust for years.
  • Setting up Tailscale on my devices as I plan to go on a trip soon.
  • And finally, redesigning my old website as I’m back to actively looking on the market.

Here We Are Today

Since I’ve spent countless hours redesigning it, I thought I might as well start blogging. I wanted to keep that for my professional life, so I set up this blog instead.

On this blog, I plan to mostly write about my rambling thoughts on things I am interested in. Writing is thinking, and I want to improve my writing. I hope you enjoy your visit and if you have any feedback on this site, feel free to shoot me an email.

That’s all for now!
