Privacy Policy

  • 2 min read

Privacy is something I deeply care about, I want to be upfront about what data gets collected here and how it’s used. Below is the full privacy policy, but if you have any questions please get in touch. Now, let’s dive into the details without any legal jargon – just plain speak.

What Data I Collect and Why

Analytics

I use GoatCounter to see how many people visit my blog and which posts they read. It’s just numbers and trends, no personal data or creepy tracking cookies.

I chose GoatCounter because it respects our privacy – no personal data, no IP addresses, nothing that screams “Big Brother is watching.” You can read more about their privacy policy here.

Honestly, I don’t really care how many people read my site, and I might just end up removing it.

Email Communication

If you do feel like reaching out to chat about a post or just say hi, that’s awesome! Your email will reach my inbox, and it’s just between us. I won’t share your email address to anyone without your consent or write it in the sky.

Yup, I use affiliate links sometimes to support this site. When you shop through them, I earn a small commission without affecting your cost. That said, I’ll only include affiliate links for products I, personally, endorse. Thanks in advance!

What I Don’t Do

  • No Ads, No Sponsors: This blog is my personal space, not a billboard. So, no ads, no sponsored posts. Just pure, unadulterated content.
  • No Selling Your Data: Your data is not a commodity to me. I’m not in the business of selling data – I’m in the business of writing blog posts and connecting with interesting people along the way.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

If I make changes to this policy, I’ll update this page. I might not send out a grand announcement, so it’s a good idea to check back here occasionally.
